Position: STOCK CLERK - RETAIL STORE

Stock clerks are devoted to ensuring proper presentation of products in the store and for providing a smile and assistance to customers who visit that section.

Location: Tampa, FL
Salary Range: Dependent upon experience plus commission

Description and Duties:

  • Providing premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions.
  • Ensuring product is rotated, within date, and properly displayed on shelves.
  • Unloading product from deliveries and organizing the stock room.
  • Filling sections as needed.
  • Cleaning cases and shelves, mopping and sweeping the sales floor, stock room and coolers.
  • Operating backroom equipment such as pallet jacks, handcarts, scales, and vacuum pack machines.
  • Taking out customer orders to their vehicles.
  • Assisting in other duties, as assigned.
  • Physical demands: prolonged standing; walking; talking; hearing; listening; occasional viewing of computer monitor; use hands and arms in reaching, handling or manipulating objects or controls; occasionally lift and/or move up to 95 pounds.
  • Work environment: indoor work environment with exposure to refrigeration temperatures of 5ºF to 35ºF. Moderate to loud noise level.
  • Candidates must consent to and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and credential verifications as conditions of employment.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Able to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.
  • Able to read, write, and do simple math problems.
  • Able to interpret, understand and follow instructions.
  • Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 95 pounds.

Position: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of routine shipping, receiving, production and housekeeping tasks. Shipping tasks include order selection/picking, packaging and shipment of orders. Receiving tasks include loading and unloading truck shipments, stocking and rotating the warehouse shelves. Production tasks include material handling, machine operation, labeling and packaging of products. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Description and Duties:

  • Select or pull orders accurately in a timely manner.
  • When receiving make sure the order is received with all of the correct paperwork.
  • Record temperatures of all inbound product/freight upon breaking the seal.
  • Prepare orders for shipments with the pick ticket and customer requirements.
  • Package and ship products in accordance with guidelines.
  • Notify supervisor of any discrepancies or shortages.
  • Receive and unload incoming product and compare information to packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipments received.
  • Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing or storing items.
  • Inspect shipments for damages, loss or defects.
  • Operate dolly, pallet jack, forklift and or sit to stand lift in loading and unloading materials.
  • Physical demands: talk; hear; performing activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as kneeling, bending, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials; use hands and arms in reaching, handling, and manipulating objects or controls; running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles such as forklifts; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Work environment: work in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures; indoor work environment; moderate noise level.
  • Candidates must consent to and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and credential verifications as conditions of employment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good organization skills – prioritize work assignments and manage work time.
  • Basic skills in use of computers and software programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
  • Two (2) years work-related experience, skills and knowledge.
